Being in Oregon, I also shared about my latest novel “Paper Balloon Bomb Follies," inspired by the tragic event in Bly, Oregon, where 6 people lost their lives due to Japanese paper balloon bombs during World War II. The conversation even touched upon the movie "On Paper Wings," directed by Ilana Sol, which I referenced in my novel, and to my pleasant surprise, I found out she is also scheduled to speak in this class.
