Three evenings ago, I clipped these chains, and let out a few squeals of happiness while looking over my shoulders at the cotton candy sky as the sun was setting. I felt proud. And shocked. But simultaneously not super surprised. And yet was in total disbelief. This send feels more significant than arguably any other throughout my career. It’s not the hardest, or most beautiful, but I think that just reminds me that it’s not about grades, or aesthetics and instead is all about how it feels within me, those I share the process with, and staying true to myself. It’s impossible for me to share the meaning of this send through social media as there are many layers to it. But in *short* this send represents resilience, finding self, and trust. This send tells me that “I can.” I really wanna shout out to my coach, Steve Bechtel. I’ve never had a coach like him before - unwavering support and belief on many levels 🥹 and I am just so grateful for his presence in my life.
