Since 2 years we were talking about combining our skills with the @claire.mercuriot who is super psyched to be in the mountains. So when she called to climb it, difficult to resist ! after checking the wind and see perfect conditions, I had to convince my friend @moritz8990 who was visiting, to go for the first time on such a big alpine route 😆. And we built up perfect 2 parties team with @maud_vp @aurelialanoe and @grosjeanmarion ! So at 6am with started walking trough to the base of the north face with our 5 wings packed in our back packs ! At 8:30am, I started full on with freezing finger trying to climb that 7b+ first pitch : 4 hard sloppy moves and the finger tip touching the jug … and damned i felt catched by the last piton (fortunately not that old ! 🫣 Then we cruised the face following pitons on a race with timing to have still the time to take off ! Arriving at the top it was tricky to find the perfect take off with wind direction and the restricted area. We walked below the zone and took off with the last light ! 😁 Amazing backyard adventure !
