Raised at Spring Brook Ranch in Kalispell, Montana, these yaks are used primarily as high end breeding stock for other yak breeders, and are also raised for meat, fur, pack animals and pasture pets. The ranch currently claims more ribbons and more grand champions than any other yak breeder in North America, and also raises Plains Bison, horses, donkeys, a mule, goats, chickens, dogs and cats.
