In the non-profit space we like seeing what @charitywater and @pencilsofpromise are up to. ________________________________________Q: On your last 100 media posted, you have 6 videos. Why? Is it more complicated to tell a story through a video rather than a picture? A: We have a great pool of images to choose from – sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, when a video may overcomplicate things. Although having said that, you’ll see @Movember share more videos this year than in years past. It’s great to see some brands that are typically thought of as image/photo based leaders also use video really well – like NatGeo’s time lapse videos or Vanity Fair showcasing their latest issue. ________________________________________Q: How do you measure your brand influence on Instagram? A: We just surpassed 1 million hashtags on Instagram. That was a cool moment for our moustaches. Also thanks to you folks, we’ve been looking deeper into who exactly our followers are and where they are from.
