Day 30 #BeStrongin2015 is Vrschikasana, Scorpion Handstand.  The purpose of this pose is to create space between the joints of the spine while allowing gravity to deepen your backbend. Don’t try to push your feet towards your head because that will compress the joints. Instead reach your chest forward while elongating the front body and engaging the back muscles. Use your pelvic floor to keep the lower back lifted and safe. Go as far as you can and never force.
