Day 5 #LetsGETFlexyIn2015 is Krounchasana (Heron Pose). Keep both sitting bones grounded by engaging the pelvic floor. Lift the extended by dropping the head of the femur into its socket and sucking the low belly in. Avoid rounding the lower back too much and instead use the core muscles to lift the torso up and away from the hips. Align the sternum forward with the knee and internally rotate both hips.  If you have any knee injuries don’t push it too hard with the bent leg.
