@kurtross takeover continues!
J.D. Merritt sharpens his crampons at our first bivi on the French Route up the N Buttress of Mt. Hunter. Before this route I had never climbed anything big enough for sharpening on route to be necessary. We ate, brewed, and snoozed at this beautiful snow arête above the gully that aesthetically defines the route for about 2.5hrs, which may not have been fully necessary for so long but felt great.
