I knew that Dick Lee and I shared the same surname, but I didn’t know until yesterday that we had another connection – Lee & Lee, the law firm founded by my parents and uncle.

Dick Lee’s father, Mr Lee Kip Lee, shared premises at Malacca Street with Lee & Lee. The two offices shared the same staircase and toilet, and Mr Lee Kip Lee was one of Lee & Lee’s first clients.
