@_goinghome here with my second to last post in my takeover! I wanted to take a second to touch on something I consider close to my heart. My fiancé and I started @goinghomeproductions a couple years ago to encourage us to keep creating no matter where our careers and life paths take us. It's recently begun to blossom into a legitimate wedding business and I wanted to say thank you. Thank you to every human out there, because the growth in wedding photographers is not because of Instagram trends. It's not. It's the forward thinking of humanity as out technology changes and our eyes adapt and we can create art in a quality our past generations could never have dreamed of. As a community, we are leaning away from expensive dresses and venues and opting for small gatherings and professional documentation. And it's amazing. Our craft is being more respected and the demand for high quality images and video continues to grow everyday.

This is not a plug for my own work, I promise. This is an honest thank you to brides and grooms who want to connect with their photographers. Thank you to the moms and dads that understand the prices are always justified. I urge you to reconsider hiring your friend that got a camera for their birthday and look into a team that brings tears to your eyes. Let the work speak for itself, follow your heart and know that we are here for you - always. We want you to be as proud of your images and video as we are. We are in this together, my friends. Never forget that.
