Nutters UPDATE:
First thank you all for your words of support, kindness, and love. We believe when we bring an animal into our lives, it becomes part of our family and our commitment to them is forever.
Nutters had a rough few days of tests - tests looking to confirm some pretty bad disease processes with very poor prognoses. At the end of the day, we have symptoms but no diagnoses - thus far. He has tricavity effusion- which means he has fluid around his lungs, heart, and in his abdomen. They were able to get the majority of the fluid out of those areas and he was able to breath better and had better heart function. Without knowing the why and since he was stable- we brought him home last night to be with his family.
While he isn't doing great, we are hopeful to keep him stable until we get some additional results from the fluid they took from around his heart and lungs.
While we don't know the why, we will continue to keep him comfortable and loved.
He is a fighter and has the prayers of so many- that I am optimistic...
