eggs these days are few and far between, the hens seem all but interested in laying, perhaps it's the morning darkness or the dusty blue grey evenings what ever it is, I was happy to find a perfect smooth brown egg on the nest this morning -
Fried with a generous crack of black pepper, a sprinkle of corse sea salt, it makes a lovely companion to these buttery mushrooms and spicy radish sprouts -
