What does it mean to be American? Recently at the @smithsonianfolklife Festival, 25 children from 17 countries gained U.S. citizenship on the National Mall in our nation’s capital, yet each maintains his or her unique background and traditions. In our unconventional fashion, circus ringmaster Timothy Mack congratulated each new citizen.
