Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute scientist Autumn-Lynn Harrison is learning where nesting brown pelicans in the Chesapeake Bay with the help of tiny solar-powered GPS tracking devices. She put tags on 6 brown pelicans with the help of Maryland Department of Natural Resources. This research is made possible by a Conservation Grant from @fonznationalzoo. #WeSaveSpecies
