This was the first brown pelican Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute scientist Autumn-Lynn Harrison fitted with a GPS satellite tracker. The GPS trackers will help her learn about their migrations from the Chesapeake Bay area to Florida and Cuba. The more we understand about their migrations, the better we can protect them. #WeSaveSpecies . . .
