I've always tried to post to motivate and uplift women. Every now and then I see people comparing their fitness level to mine in the comments on my posts. I don't ever want anyone to compare their fitness level to mine. Please don't look at my videos and think "I'll never be able to do that"... because I used to be that girl. I used to think that and say "I wish I wish".... but instead of continuing that thought process, I got up and did something about it. I'll tell you straight out and I'm always honest about this, it was NOT easy. It was not fun at first. But the amazing truth is, that feeling didn't last. I realised after dedicating time to myself I wasn't feeling unfit, sore and tired anymore. My body LOVED exercise and I loved my body. So I kept doing it and now I can't live without it. Some of my earliest memories in the gym was of me CRYING on the first day I walked in because I had no idea what I was doing and I was SO overwhelmed with thoughts of how hard this was about to be. Don't ever believe that all these 'gym people' you see online got up one day and just LOVED working out. It doesn't work like that. It IS hard to get started but once you push through those first few weeks, it's so much easier. Even if you have a small break, it doesn't matter because you KNOW you can get back there, back to where you want to be. Don't concern yourself with getting started, just start. I'm telling you now, your first session, 1000 doubts are going to run through your head.... try not to listen to any of them and just KEEP GOING.
