and so the story goes.... not long ago, a Japanese hapa girl was born in Carlsbad, Ca to two philanthropic, immigrant parents at 4:14 am, 5-14.. ...she was different & she always felt different. A Japanese Mom & a Polish-American Dad.

No matter what, she just never seemed to fit in. Her preschool teachers said “you should get Candice into sports...” and indeed she played. Later in life, after college she paid for culinary school & became a writer, she had big dreams to move to the big city and make shit happen.
She hated rules & when people told her she couldn’t do things, when people gave her rules .. she told them to go fuck off —- but she didn’t tell — she showed them... you see, some of us have to pioneer a path, of resistance & lay the pavement, so that other young women can be shown the way.
She always showed what she was made of, but with grace & integrity. All of her books, content + media, ideas — original shit.
She will soon be launching a new endeavor, and will continue to blow your mind ... everything, including your life is immeasurable.
Stop playing so small & start being a rebel. Rules don’t apply when you’re a true artist.
