The World at Night project
A major black-out in August 2013 provided me an unusual night sight of Oia, an iconic town of Santorini island, Greece, where the night is dominated by numerous lights. Locals and tourists were amazed by the star-filled sky when the lights were off for a couple of nights. Here the Milky Way appears over candle-lit restaurants.
