Shana Tova to all my Jewish followers! For everyone who is not Jewish, Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish new year based on the lunar calendar. Shana Tova means “a good year” in Hebrew. We celebrate with two nights of big family dinners that include sweet foods for a sweet new year like apples with honey, pomegranate, honey cake, raisin challah and wine. I’ll dip my apple in honey for all of you, no matter what religion you practice or even if you don’t affiliate with any religion at all.
