冬でも葉を落とさない常緑樹で、『永遠の命』の象徴とされたモミの木。
ちなみにツリーの先端につけられる星は、キリストの降誕を知らせたベツレヘムの星にちなんだものだとか。
そんな聖夜に凛と立つクリスマスツリーをイメージして作った練切の和菓子。
