Challenging yourself with the stories you tell and the art you make isn’t easy. Walking away from something that’s become routine is terrifying.

Fashion photography has been good to me. But at a certain point I had to be honest with myself - taking pretty pictures wasn’t enough for me. It wasn’t feeding me creatively anymore. I still LOVE taking pictures - but there are so many stories I want to tell that dont “fit” in the world of fashion.

Dark and disturbing stories about being an outsider and the risks we take to make connections. That’s what BUGCRUSH was about. Once I made that film I knew I would never be able to look at fashion the same again.
