Elephants are fed with milk by keepers at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust orphanage in #Nairobi on March 12. Each calf at the nursery was orphaned by poachers, drought or due to conflict with humans encroaching ever further into the few wild places left. #Elephants stay at the orphanage for about three years; they are fed every three hours and sleep in individual wooden pens, each with a keeper.
