Today was Mazzy’s half birthday. We celebrated by completely forgetting. 😆 Which would not have mattered except that at about 8:30pm, as everyone was going to bed, Mike was like, “Oh hey, Mazzy! Today was your half birthday!” And then Mazzy was like, “That’s not fair! Harlow got cupcakes!” So I said, “Well, in all fairness, Harlow counted down the days to her half birthday a full month in advance and told us exactly what she was expecting...” So I guess, our new rule is— you are responsible for the importance of your own half birthday.🤪I should also note that Mazzy took it in stride, like the 9 1/2 year-old that she is, and I agreed to get her a cupcake tomorrow. 🎉🎉🎉
