How many of you ladies JUMPED out of bed this morning to workout? Something I hear a lot from the #BBGCommunity is that finding the motivation to actually get to the gym is one of the hardest parts about ‘working out’. Think about this like... washing your hair for example. We normally “can’t be bothered” but we know we have to... and we always feel so much better once it’s done! What ACTUALLY makes you physically complete this task isn't motivation. It's DISCIPLINE. Focus on the way you are going to FEEL after your workout and gradually it will start to feel as NECESSARY as washing your hair (which is LITERALLY what I did after this photo hahaha).

I found that doing it first thing in the morning is the only way to keep the habit. So, I would rather to wake up at 4:30 and go. In the afternoon, I usually lose motivation to do it on my own. So I save the afternoons with running with a friend.

I’m really struggling to regain my motivation since returning from Honeymoon. I had such drive and discipline before my wedding and now I need that back. I definitely needed to hear to find my way back on the path...

Great metaphor, washing hair and work out! You are so right about discipline as well. I am in a low motivation phase and I can only change this by focusing on discipline...and the after work out high effect :)

What if you feel worse after work outs (sweaty, too hot, super sore, defeated)? How do you get around that? I rarely get the good feelings after workouts :/ I’m broken
