Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing regarding me recent unsatisfactory experience with American Airlines. My record locator is available . On arrival in Dallas on route to Wichita, we were fist informed that the flight was delayed and shortly afterwards cancelled.
We received a voucher for a hotel, in which the air conditioning was not functioning, we had to pay for a taxi to get to the hotel as we were not given a taxi voucher. As we needed to be in Wichita for a family function and were refused seats on the morning flight, we had to make our own way to Wichita by car at our own expense. On arrival, we were assured that the luggage had arrived in the morning and would be delivered but as it was not we had to go to the airport to collect it. My husband was without his insulin form more than 36 hours. We received no apology anywhere along the line.
I addition the service on the Dublin to Dallas flight was appalling, the stewardess was actively rude to the couple be said me and during the night the crew posted that attached on the door to crew resting area.
This service falls far short of what we expected from American Airlines. We are returning to Ireland on Friday 2nd August, in lieu of this major inconvenience and in lieu of the lost flight, I ask that you address this prior to my flight from Dallas to Dublin. I look forward to your positive and early response prior to our departure to Ireland.

I just found out that my returning flight from Dallas on Sunday, August 4th will be canceled because both passengers (my girlfriend and I) can’t make the flight there on Thursday, August 1st due to a work emergency. I called customer service to cancel the first leg of the trip to Dallas and was very surprising told that the entire trip would be canceled. We will both be on last-minute work trips (one in New York and one in Denver) and will not be able to make it back to Los Angeles to leave on Thursday from LAX. This is ludicrous to me. Quite frankly it doesn’t make any sense that the entire trip should be canceled. Especially if we are both able, and we’re planning on being on the second leg. Now, being over $400 dollars in the hole. We have to look for replacement flights with a 4 day notice. I could not be more disappointed. American has very clearly placed profits over customers here. And in turn have lost 2 for good.

These airplanes are in humane. Not meant for a 5 hour flight. There’s simply no space. There’s literally a panel in the window that crushes your arm while you crush the passenger next to you, the seat cushion is thin, there’s no entertainment or beverage offering. This should be a lower cost flight and people should be aware of what they are getting into. This is a business route and a red eye flight. Shame on you American Airlines. Passengers are not cattle. You should advertise this flight for what it is and not dupe people into it. I feel ripped off, taken advantage of, uncomfortable. The physical pain I’m in is horrific. Everyone is complaining. I have status and miles with you about to reach platinum and I’m seriously considering cashing in my miles and not flight with you anymore. I’ll give my business to an ethical company.

Citi Cards & American Airlines are committing a classic bait & switch scam. We constantly get mail offers to apply for Citi / AA Credit Cards with an offer for 60,000 AA miles. My wife and I both got Cards and met the requirement to spend $3,000 within 3 months and pay in full to get the mileage. However, when we didn’t get the miles I contacted them and was informed that we were not eligible because we had canceled another account with them less than 24 months ago.
WHY ARE THEY SENDING US AN OFFER THAT WE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR???

He seems so happy.. the complete opposite of how my eight-year-old and I felt on Thursday the 25th when you canceled our flight because of “mechanical issues” AKA labor dispute, and then delayed our rescheduled flights, making a 1:30 am arrival for a little boy who has a neurological disorder. Then proceeded to destroy my luggage )ripping off the handle) and leaving a giant hole in my bag. @americanair still waiting for customer service to respond to my complaint.

@americanair get with it and listen to your customers. This post literally generated so many complaints about how terrible your customer service is and what a terrible experience all of yours customers are having, for example, stranding a customer like @hertastylife with her two-year old at the airport with no help whatsoever and no access to her luggage. And all you can do is post a video of an employee having fun. #wtfamericanairlines
