3日間の海外のCrossFit大会。
沢山の応援ありがとうございました😌
今回4位🎖でした。残念ながら表彰台には上がれませんでしたが、今の自分の持っている力は全部出し切りました。競技１つ１つ終わったら、しばらく立ち上がれなくなるくらい…
身体の大きなアスリート達だらけで圧倒されてばかりで不安しかなかったですが、今まで自分がやってきたこと、自分をまるごと信じて戦おうと何度も言い聞かせ「不安」を「挑戦」へ。
3日間かけて7つのWorkOutをやるのですが、毎回あのフロアに立つ直前は極度の緊張が身体を駆け巡り慣れる事はなかったです。
3日目はもう流石に身体中が全部痛く、ここまでの筋肉痛は人生初めてかもというくらい身体が悲鳴上げていました。アスリート達の条件は皆一緒。みんなあちこち痛い。
最後は気持ちだけで戦っていました。
オンライン予選では真ん中くらいの順位だったので自信がありませんでしたが、4位までのし上がれるもんだ。本番、生の身体でフロアに立ち戦って結果出せてなんぼ。
気持ちの変動が大きな3日間でした。
良くも悪くも自分をコントロール出来るのは自分しかいない。
「自分という存在を強く信じてあげること。」
「僕なんか…私なんか… 」なんて思わなくていい。
ここぞという場面では何事も今の自分を全て出し切ればいい。努力は裏切らないから。絶対に。

表彰台に立てるのは3位まで。4位からはスポットライトは浴びれない。強靭なアスリート達の中、自分を出し切った4位という成績に満足していたはずなのに、表彰式で表彰台に立つアスリートを見ていたら何だか羨ましかった。
次は自分があそこに立ちたいと思った。

Looking back at the 3-day overseas CrossFit competition.
I finished 4th place🎖. Unfortunately, I couldn't go to the podium, but I gave everything I had. After each workout, I couldn’t even move for exhaustion. I was overwhelmed by the athletes with their strong looking bodies, but I kept telling myself over and over again to believe in my training and what I can do. I almost crumbled under the pressure, but kept fighting. I did 7 WorkOuts over 3 days, but every time I stood on that floor my skin was crawling from the overwhelming pressure.
On the third day, my whole body was hurting. The muscles were so sore and just moving a little felt impossible, and then there were two more workouts to go. I know all the athletes are feeling the same, but I have never been pushed this hard. The last challenge was pure mental. I wasn't very confident going in to the Kalis Games because I was in the middle of the online qualifier. But I was able to finish in 4th place. It ’s a real thing, standing on the floor with a everybody there to win and getting results.
It was 3 days with great fluctuations in feelings. Only you can control yourself for better or worse.
I don't have to think "I will strongly believe in myself." At this point I just needed to go there and do my best. Only the top 3 athletes get to stand in the spotlight. Although I should be satisfied with the result of 4th place, I am still envious of seeing the athletes on the podium.
Next time I wanted to stand there.
