What’s your go to ‘gym’ cardio machine? Read below, comment yours & why ⤵️
So if we are talking gym cardio options, there are some I prefer more than others and some you would never catch using.
Stairmaster🦵🏾
Gradually working up the hierarchy to become one of my favourites. I get an incredible quads pump using the Stairmaster, and I’m normally sweating a lot quicker than most other forms of gym cardio.
Exercise Bike 🚲
My favourite for quite some time and I have one at home. I love that I can perform low intensity cardio for a considerable amount of time, and sometimes even forget I’m doing cardio as I catch up with Netflix shows or watch YouTube vids.
Treadmill 🏃🏾
Will always be a staple in my cardio arsenal. Again great for both low and high intensity cardio; I’ll either be power walking, jogging or performing intervals including sprints.
Elliptical Trainer 🚫
No, just no. I’ve been in gyms for more than half my life, and I can count on 1 hand the amount of times I’ve used an elliptical trainer. I have just never liked the movement pattern 🤷🏾♂️
Rowing Machine 🚣🏾
‘It’s not you, it’s me’ The Rower is an awesome machine great for high intensity cardio, it is for that reason specifically that it doesn’t rank high on my list, as I prefer machines that give me the option to go easy should I wish.
