(well, and lil Presley 😆) 9 months pregnant and this is ME again (now) almost 6 months postpartum. When I was first pregnant everyone would ALWAYS tell me “you’re barely going to gain any weight and right when you have that baby you’re going to “snap back” so quick. I guess that’s the impression you give people if you’re “in shape” prior to pregnancy. It’s been a journey let me tell you. A HUGE journey of self love and acceptance. Being kind to myself and loving my body every step of the way. For the most part after having a HUMAN (I still can’t wrap my head around that part - I. birthed. a. person. 😂) I have told myself that I am SUPERWOMAN. Can you believe that was me in the left only 6 month ago and I now get comments about how I’m so unfit? 😳😤 I have went at my own pace through my postpartum journey despite what society and social media wanted to pressure me into feeling. I have eaten healthy (and intuitively) and worked out as much as I can. I spend time in the mirror making peace with my new and IMPROVED self. I say improved because I am now STRONGER than ever before. I see my body in a different way. I appreciate the little things it does for me. Along with the big things like creating a human!
