Photo by @dina_litovsky I spent the three months of shelter place photographing Manhattan after dark. The eerily quiet city resembled an abandoned theater stage. By losing its social purpose, the familiar landscape of the city's bars, restaurants, intersections, and squares became unrecognizable. The empty streets transformed into a Hopperesque space of the ultimate night, punctuated by glowing windows and streetlights. The few remaining sources of light offered sanctuary to lonely passersby, shuffling in and out of darkness. For more images of NYC, follow me @dina_litovsky.
