Back in the day I was an avid macro counter, weight lifting and workout obsessive; and I don’t regret a single moment of my journey, because it all lead me to where I am now 🥰 Evolving, maturing, life experiences and changing circumstances have resulted in me having a much more relaxed approach to fitness. I’ve gone from 6 day strength splits and hating cardio to loving running and doing occasional weighted circuits. I’ve gone from bro meals and fearing bread to a relaxed plant based diet with an abundance of carbs. And my goals? They have shifted from being purely aesthetic to being focused on what my body can do. I want to be fit for life, not for a holiday. I want to be strong so I can climb mountains. I want to be resilient so I can bounce back from any challenges life throws at me. I want to be healthy so I feel energised to squeeze every opportunity out of my days.
