This Frederic Remington’s painting has stayed in my heart from my recent visit at The Clark.

Also I found it’s symbolic to see him in gold ornate frame.

先日行ったマサチューセッツのクラーク美術館で心に残った絵。今日は“根拠なく”コロンバスがアメリカ大陸を発見した記念日とされているそうですが、南北アメリカ大陸の先住民族の人々にとってみたら自分たちの土地を残忍に征服された記念したくもない日です。
