These photos are getting a little harder to capture with 36 weeks of baby along for the ride, but it’s still a blast to get out there and try when I have the energy for it. Many of the photos I take of this style require focus stacking to achieve the final product, which means I have to shoot many iterations of the same frame with a slightly different focus in each. At 2-5 times magnification, the only way to achieve this is typically to crouch down, hold very still, and hold my breath. Needless to say, 6 pounds of baby in the belly does not help this cause.
