Bread — nothing like it fresh out of the oven, right? Today we’re sharing this easy 4-ingredient artisan bread that you can make at home, free of preservatives!

-3+1/4cup organic bread flour
-2 tsp of instant yeast (or 1 packet!)
-2 tsp course sea salt
- 1+1/2cup room temperature water

In a mixing bowl whisk flour, yeast, and salt together. Add the room temp water, and mix until it’s sticky and you can shape it into a ball. Cover it with a towel and let rise for 3 hours at room temp. The dough will double and start to air bubble!

You can bake it there and then, but we reccomend covering with foil or wrap and refrigerating it overnight (the flavor will be better the longer it sits!) Bake it the next afternoon! Take the dough and fold it once or twice on a floured surface and cut in half. Shake the two halves into long cylinders and let sit covered on your metal pan (sprinkled with flour on the bottom) with a towel for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 475.

When ready to bake, slice the tops of the loaves with a knife! Place in y your oven and bake for 25 minutes. For a crispy crust, pour boiling water into a shallow baking dish and let that sit in the bottom rack of your oven. The steam will be trapped in the oven while the bread bakes!

Tap the loaves, if they sound hollow you’ll know they’re ready! Slice and dip in olive oil and balsamic, or simply spread some butter on your slices. Woo!🥖
