Photos by Charlie Hamilton James @chamiltonjames | A fallen tree over a river in Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula makes the perfect bridge for those rainforest animals that prefer not to get their feet wet. I installed a camera trap on this log for two or three months and was amazed by the diversity of creatures that used it. In the first photo, two pumas cross the river at dawn, their images ghosted by strobes and a long exposure. For more on the Osa Peninsula, considered one of Earth’s most biodiverse regions, go to the link in bio.
