From the tip of its nose to the end of its tail, the spearpoint leaf-tailed gecko measures no more than four inches in length. Found in forests throughout parts of Madagascar, this gecko spends much of its time in the trees, and it is believed that they feed on a variety of invertebrates including snails. As a nocturnal species they do their hunting at night, spending the day at rest, perfectly camouflaged amongst dead leaves.
