Whole Festival is truly a queer party paradise.

For three days every August, 8,000 people descend on a drab former mining site in the German countryside, transforming it into a joyous, sweaty, glitter-drenched techno utopia. There are darkrooms in the forest, beaches to strip off and stretch out on, and a general sense of love and acceptance you’re unlikely to find at many other festivals.
