I live in my studio.
After I eat dinner at around 7 or 8pm, I get sleepy and fall asleep immediately. I wake up once after midnight and go to back to sleep around 3 am. Then I wake up again between 5 and 6 am. That’s the sort of life I lead now, but since the studio is running day and night, when I wake up, the night shift staff is waiting for me and gets me started right away. In this photo, I’m giving instructions for a new painting at around 5:30 in the morning. I'm still sleepy.

私はスタジオに住んどります。
夜、19時から20時くらいに夕飯を食べると、眠くなり、速攻寝落ち。午前0時過ぎに一回起きて、午前3時ごろ寝る。そして、午前5時から6時に起きる、という生活を送ってますが、スタジオは昼夜勤務体制なので、起きると夜勤のスタッフが待ってて、アレコレ急かしてくれるのです。この写真は朝5時半ごろの新作の指示出し。未だ、眠いです。
