Am now in Abu Dhabi in the UAE for the second leg of my trip to the Middle East.

Visited the Abrahamic Family House, an inter-faith complex housing a church, mosque and a synagogue. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of inter-faith dialogue in maintaining social cohesion and fostering understanding, and especially so in recent times. It is important for us to come together in peace — diverse in our faiths, yet common in our humanity.

I also toured the majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the landmarks of Abu Dhabi and a testament to UAE’s rich cultural heritage. I thank our Emirati hosts for the warm hospitality and for showing us around! – LHL
