Jean Hediger, a Colorado #farmer, using a drone to pinpoint which parts of her fields need fertilizer, water, weed killer or seed. Jean is one of a growing number of American farmers using unmanned aircraft to gather information. The problem: They’re breaking the law. It is currently illegal to fly drones for commercial purposes without permission.
