Here's a throwback to when I was 18, a year before I had my daughter and this picture was taken 10yrs ago today as I'm now 28! Eek! I was a shy, awkward and bullied child with very low self esteem yet scouted for modelling by MTV at the age of 18 which led me to change everything about myself - peroxide hair, sunbeds, false nails, loads of makeup. I was finally adored by others simply for how I looked, yet I hadn't changed as a person inside and I realised it wasn't me that they liked but my fake exterior, all of the things that were unnatural and temporary about me. Raising my two children alone now I embrace everything I am, my heart has stayed true throughout my life and surprisingly people like me for who I am and was always supposed to be. Goodbye hair, tan, nails and makeup and hello peace and freedom.
