With just over a week to go, the presidential election has overtaken the news, pop culture and conversation. Halloween didn’t stand a chance. We asked 3 photographers to go out in search of political Halloween costumes on Saturday night. They found bad hombres, nasty women, beauty pageant contestants in pig masks and #KenBone — the red-sweatered man who asked a question about energy policy at the 2nd presidential debate. The @ニューヨーク・タイムズ photographer @al_drago took this photo of 5 interpretations of Ken who were on their way to a bar in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. @al_drago’s final Ken Bone count: 17. “The only costume that was more popular was Eleven from Stranger Things,” he said.
