Amidst all the highs and lows of life remember to stop where you are and acknowledge how far you’ve come. While you may be tempted to focus on how far you’ve got left go, just remember to pause every now and then and appreciate the journey that has taken you to where you are today.

I often need this gentle reminder like so many driven, passionate people with big dreams. Sometimes all I see are the many miles ahead in my journey and I wonder if I’ll ever make it, if I’ll have the strength to keep going. But when I feel overwhelmed I hear my teacher’s voice saying to be stronger and I know that I’ll find the strength somewhere along the way.
