Constantly humbled by history 😍 This trip is everything I needed and more. I travel extensively for work and I have a tendency to tie work into my personal holidays too. As a result I am on my laptop creating content late into the evening when I’m away with my boyfriend. He never complains, he’s too lovely, but I know he wants me to be able to switch off like he does. That’s why I am making a conscious effort on this trip to do just that. I’m not blogging. Not vlogging. Not pressuring myself to capture fitness content for Instagram. Not obsessively replying to emails within minutes of receiving them. Nothing. And it’s bloody INCREDIBLE. It’s so refreshing to capture content because I want to, not because I need to. I know it sounds silly, but it’s true 😂 As a blogger you can put unrealistic expectations on yourself and expect your career to fall apart the moment you stop posting 🙈 Don’t get me wrong, I realise how blessed my job is, its a dream I’ve chased and worked towards for years. I feel gratitude for my job everyday.
