Bali Beach Clean ?? I’ve had the most incredible day at the @Corona @parley.tv beach clean ? I often get asked WHY I do beach cleans, so let me explain and hopefully inspire you to do your own: ➡️ It saves wildlife. Plastic on beaches can be washed back into the ocean and harm marine creatures or can be eaten by seabirds, ultimately killing them ? ➡️ It’s motivating AF. Seeing the impact of our throwaway lifestyle in front of my eyes gives me the biggest drive to be a part of wider positive change. Trust me, you’ll never want to have a takeaway coffee cup again when you’ve picked up 50 on a beach ? ➡️ It connects me with like minded people. Quite frankly talking to other people who clean beaches and give a cr*p about the ocean gives me hope for humanity ??? ➡️ It raises awareness. Sharing beach cleans on social media can help open other peoples eyes and inspire them to reduce their plastic consumption ? There are organised beach cleans across the globe, research into local initiatives if you want to get involved. But it doesn’t need to be that serious, just grab a bag, go solo and pick up plastic on your next beach stroll. Then pop it in recycling or landfill depending on what’s available to you and your area.
