One day the illusion will shatter, it alway does.
One day even the worst storms let up, nothing lasts forever, certainly not the darkness.
One day, the tides turn and times up on all the falsehoods and veneers, truth needs no defense to withstand a tsunami of excuses.
One day even the most cunning trickster gets caught with a hand in the cookie jar, stealing what was once sacred, in a jurisdiction of the spirit where no one has immunity.
One day...
Yes, one day indeed.
And yet,
We live with our illusions like old friends in the belief that our day of reckoning will never come, a bargain of the soul that depletes the only true reservoir.
Even the strongest steel cages cannot shield from the rays of piercing revelation. Truth shines like a thousand suns, with no shadows, no place to hide. Raise your face and breathe in the light or rebel and rage against the wrong machine.
Stop running, proving, explaining, performing.
Look within, every answer is far deeper down than you think,
Keep digging,
Never settle for flash when what you want is depth.
Shadows pass across the vast expanse of the mind, trends rise and fall, but some things will not be shaken even amidst tectonic shifts.
You,
Not the body,
Not your clothes, your size, your shape,
Not the mind,
Not the thoughts, emotions, riddles and labyrinths.
Not your car, not your clothes, bank account, culture, not your history, trauma, mistakes, achievement, no, not this, none of this.
So, you,
What then?
Not one of anything, but,
Yes,
Now,
One with everything.
