Want to know a secret? I’ve been chasing travel jobs since day one of my blog, over six years ago. I’ve been putting together travel guides, articles and videos for free for as long as I can remember. I’ve been pestering PR teams, sweet talking tourism boards and grafting for zero payment ? Why? Because travel has always been my dream and making it a part of my career has been my ambition since the very beginning ? So it feels SO damn good to have just finished my first paid travel job as an ambassador for @visitcalifornia ?? Yeah, it might be six years after I started but it finally happened. It didn’t come about overnight but I didn’t stop chasing it. It goes to show that with hard work, persistence, patience and determination you can get where you want to be ?? This past week I’ve road-tripped through California’s diverse destinations from beaches and cities through to mountains and deserts ? I’ve fallen even more in love with this beautiful state and I can’t wait to come back in 2019 to show you even more of what it has to offer! ?
