【ありがとうを大切にする「手紙箱」】 相手を想い、未来を想い、大切に紡がれる言葉。
簡単に言葉を届けることができる今だからこそ、
一文字、一文字と向き合いながら、
手に伝わる筆記のやわらかな感触を確かめながら、
丁寧に手紙のなかにしたためて。

おふたりの言葉で紡いだ想いが
もっと特別に、大切に伝わるように。
そんな想いから生まれた八芳園の「手紙箱」。 福岡県大川市の木工職人である「プロセス井口」井口さんは、ひとつずつ木をくり抜きながらこの「手紙箱」を手掛けています。
装飾には、同じく大川市の組子職人「仁田原建具製作所」仁田原さんの繊細で美しい麻の葉模様の組子が。
そして、「手紙箱」に色を添える京くみひもは、
梅原さんをはじめとする、京都府宇治市「昇苑くみひも」の職人の皆さまが、一本一本想いを込めて結んでいます。

言葉を紡ぐ、想いを記す。

The words woven to think of the person and future.
Particularly now it is easy just to send words,
it is something to write a letter carefully by hand.
while confronting each letter, confirming the gentle feeling of handwriting propagated to a hand,
To deliver the feeling woven with the words of the bride and groom
even more specially and importantly.
The“letter box” of Happo-en has started with such a thought.
Mr.Iguchi, a wooden craftsman for ”Process Iguchi” in Ohkawa city, Fukuoka prefecture, is makes this “letter box” by hollowing out a tree one by one.
The decoration is used of kumiko(muntin)which is delicate patterns of beautiful hemp leaves made by a craftsman of muntin in the same Okawa city, Mr. Nitahara for “Nitahara Tategu Company”.
And the Kyo-kumihimo (Japanese braid) which add color on the ”letter box” is tied one by one with each thought in mind by Mr.Umehara and other craftsmen for “Sho-en Kumihimo” in Uji city, Kyoto
Weave words and record thoughts.
The wedding concept proposed by Happo-en, ”KOTONOHA”.
