getting back into my squats after a couple months of recovery, and I’m feeling good! 🙏🏼

I’m a big advocate for prioritizing compound movements in your workouts. not only will you get strong💪🏼💪🏼, but you’re also activating multiple muscle groups, gaining muscle, improving your intermuscular coordination, and elevating your heart rate (healthy hearts>>💞)

today, we’re doing the basic & battle-tested moves:

1️⃣Squats - keeping each rep mindful + bracing my core
⠀
2️⃣Deadlifts (two phases) - pausing at mid-shin at the first phase, then thrusting my glutes forward to lock the second phase
⠀
3️⃣Hip thrusts - doing 3 sets for 15-20 reps, squeezing my glutes at the top (full ROM)
