About 300 people assembled Tuesday evening in front of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward in a display of solidarity with anti-extradition law protestors in Hong Kong. Mandy Tang, a 19-year-old exchange student from Hong Kong, currently attending a Japanese language school in Tokyo, spent the night before the protest folding nearly 100 white ribbons, which she says symbolize support for those protesting in Hong Kong. Tonight’s Tokyo protest is scheduled to move to the front of Shibuya Station near the Hachiko dog statue from 9 p.m. 📸: @ryuseitakahashi217
