Photo by Pete McBride @pedromcbride | Color isn’t a reliable way to tell bears apart—black bears like this young male are dark but often equal in size to brown bears, which can have coloration ranging from blond to black. Body shape is a better indicator, as brown bears have a large shoulder hump. As our climate warms, these bears in Alaska and Western Canada are ambling beyond their traditional territories and mixing with polar bears, creating a blend known as a pizzly or grolar. #Alaska #bears #wildlife. Correction: This caption previously mislabeled the bear as a grizzly. It is in fact a black bear.

Lindo como os outros, mesmo com suas diferenças. Que o clima colabore para manter cada um em seu habitat??
